About /ASD Furniture
Creations by Andrew Stansell Design range from simple linear designs
of the his own conception, including metal adaptations of traditional
wooden furniture designs to free-form organic light sculptures made from
Japanese papers wrapped around metal armatures.
He strives for a sense of simplicity, honesty and authenticity in all
his pieces. He seeks to achieve this through well thought-out design and
a balanced use of proportion. This is coupled with materials that convey
an almost primitive, textural feel, while retaining a sense of refinement
and simple elegance.
